(disc 1) Things to come: based on a H.G. Wells story, this is the story of what our world would be like in the year 2036, after a nuclear fall-out. Metropolis: an amazingly innovative fillm for its time, is a view of what an over mechanized world would look like. The lost world: a wonderful adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel, where a journalist's trip to a South American country takes a very strange turn when he discovers that a part of it is ruled by dinosaurs
Description
(disc 2) Frozen alive: a forward thinking scientist uses his own body in order to test his theory of cryogenics and its side-effects, but while he is in suspended animation someone murders his wife and how will the doctor prove his innocence? The day time ended: when a family moves into their new home, they never expect their peace and quiet to be so quickly disrupted, little do they know that the three stars that have just exploded simultaneously in space will make their lives a nightmare. Slipstream: in order to escape detection from his bounty hunters, fugitive Byron jumps into the slipstream and what awaits him on the other side is an adventure like no other
Description
(disc 3) A journey to the center of time: when a giant reactor explodes in a lab, a scientist and his crew are sent flying 5,000 years into the future. Unknown world: Dr. Jeremiah Morley and his team of travelers have broken through the earth's core and travel 200 miles towards the center, in order to find an acceptable living environment in case of a nuclear holocaust. In the year 2889: though Earth has been destroyed by nuclear warfare, a scientist and his daughter have managed to escape and live in their remote mountain home but their fate doesn't seem so lucky once their desperate neighbors start moving in
